BROWNFIELD — The Snyder Lady Tigers lost to Brownfield 54-16 in a non-district basketball game Tuesday.
Snyder (1-12) trailed 18-5 at the end of the first quarter and 32-12 at halftime. Brownfield held the Lady Tigers scoreless during the third quarter.
Alyssa Benitez scored six points and Bailey Garcia had three points.

Snyder JV Black
The Snyder JV Black team lost to Brownfield, 45-32.
Marisa Molinar scored 11 points while Angela Murrillo added nine points.
Snyder will host Stanton Friday. The JV game will start at 2 p.m., followed by the varsity game at 3:30 p.m.

Ira Girls
SPUR — The No. 12 Ira Lady Bulldogs claimed the lead on a 16-8 second quarter run and defeated Spur, 45-39.
Alyssa Goodwin finished with 20 points and three assists. Shailee Manning had 13 points and three steals.
Sierra Welch had five rebounds and three assists. Madison Peterson also had five rebounds while Lexie Hanshew had three assists.
The Lady Bulldogs (12-2) will play at Monahans Friday.

The Bulldogs (3-8) will play at Trent Friday.
