LAS VEGAS, N.M. — The Western Texas College softball team defeated Luna Community College 15-14 in the final game of a four-game Western Junior College Athletic Conference series Saturday.
WTC scored seven runs in the top of the seventh.
The Lady Westerners lost a doubleheader to Luna 16-7 and 3-1 Friday, as well as Saturday’s first game, 10-6.
WTC (17-17, 5-3) will play doubleheaders at Frank Phillips College Friday and Clarendon College Saturday. The first game will start at 1 p.m. each day.
