Following another successful season, the Snyder Tiger boys’ basketball team announced its end-of-season awards for the 2020 season.
Senior Teafale Lenard was named team MVP. Lenard was the district MVP and led the Tigers with 15 points per game.
Lenard also averaged 4.4 rebounds and two blocks per game.
Senior Jayden Samaniego was named the Defensive Player of the Year and was the recipient of the Fighting Tiger award.
Samaniego averaged 10.8 points per game and was a three-year starter for the Tigers.
Sophomore Eber Murillo was named the teams’ Most Improved Player.
In his first year on varsity, Murillo averaged 7.8 points per game with 4.2 rebounds and was named the district’s Newcomer of the Year.
