Snyder boys take second in Jim Ned

 The Snyder boys’ cross country team finished second in the Warpath Invitational Saturday.
Christian Escobedo finished first in the 5K with a time of 16:55.
Snyder had four runners finish in the top 15 out of 146 runners, with Michael Jaramillo, Jeremiah Rodriguez and Corey Landin all finishing in the top 15. Antonio Martinez just missed the top 15, placing 16th.
As a team, the boys were one point behind meet champion Abilene High School.
The Lady Tigers were paced by Mary Kerr, whose time of 14:25 earned her a 21st place finish.
Just behind her at 25th was Taryn Nobles, with a 14:34. As a team, the girls finished ninth out of 17 teams.
