HAMLIN — The Snyder High School boys won the team championship at the Hamlin Cross Country Invitational Wednesday.
Five Snyder runners finished in the top 10 — Christian Escobedo (first place, 15:57.09), Corey Landin (third place, 17:10.16), Jeremiah Rodriguez (fourth place, 17:20.64), Michael Jaramillo (sixth place, 17:27.53) and Andrew Stelluti (10th place, 18:19.26).
The Snyder girls finished fifth as a team, led by Taryn Nobles, who was second (13:03.34).
The Snyder Junior High School boys won the team title with three runners finishing in the top 10 — Antonio Martinez (second place, 9:04.08), Aiden Leal (third place, 9:07.13) and Esteban Cabrera (seventh place, 9:23.20).
