The Snyder High School football team is hard at work trying to improve for the upcoming season.
Several athletes are finding success in off-season activities already this summer.
The Tiger offensive and defensive linemen have qualified for the sixth annual Texas Lineman Challenge, which will be held June 22 at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene.  The event is designed to test the strength, speed and ability of a team’s offensive and defensive line groups.
Skill position players are also competing in 7-on-7 football and will compete in a state-qualifying tournament at Jim Ned High School on Friday.
Sixteen teams will compete in Division 2 Friday, with the top two teams advancing to the state tournament in College Station later this month.
