Snyder ISD is making it easier for athletes to get physicals this year.
From 3-6 p.m. Thursday, the Cogdell Family Clinic staff will be at the indoor practice facility offering physicals for all incoming seventh, ninth and 11th graders who will participate in athletics, cheerleading and marching band. Students in those extracurricular activities are required to have physicals before participating in any organized event. Students who suffered an injury in 2018-19 are also required to take a physical.
Parents should provide the student’s medical history and completed consent form, glasses, if worn, and a medical release from any previous injuries or conditions.
Students who are not able to attend Thursday’s event must set up an appointment at the clinic for physicals.
