Snyder volleyball splits matches in Lubbock Tuesday

The Snyder volleyball team went 1-1 at Lubbock Monterrey Tuesday.
Snyder defeated Odessa High School in five sets. The Lady Tigers lost the first two sets (21-25, 19-25), but rallied to tie the match by winning the next two sets (25-21, 25-23). The Lady Tigers completed the comeback with a 15-9 win in fifth set.
The Lady Tigers lost the second match of the day to Lubbock Monterrey. Snyder took the first set 25-20, but Monterey won the next three sets (25-17, 25-15, 26-24) to win the match.
Snyder will compete in this weekend’s Argyle tournament.
