Snyder won three team titles at the Western Texas College Cross Country Open Saturday.
Snyder was the only high school boys’ team with a team score. Snyder’s Christian Escobedo won the individual title with a time of 18:55. Ira’s Isaac Cabrera and Hunter McCowen finished second and third with times of 21:21.36 and 21:44, respectively.
Hermleigh’s Colton Messick was fourth with a time of 22:14.
In the high school girls’ race, Snyder had a team score of 23 points and Ira was second with 32 points. Snyder’s Kim Cortes won the individual title with a time of 15:12.
Ira’s Ainsley Manning was second with a time of 15:57. Hermleigh’s Brittany Smith was 10th with a time of 17:35.
Snyder claimed the junior high school boys’ team championship with 19 points. Ira finished second with 42 points.
Snyder’s Jeremiah Rodriguez was the individual champion with a time of 13:54. Ira’s Cody McCowen finished second with a time of 14:15.
Hermleigh’s Maeto Clark finished seventh with a time of 15:52.
