SHALLOWATER — The Snyder Tigers lost to Hereford and Andrews at the Railyard Baseball Classic Saturday.
Hereford scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to claim a 5-4 win. The Tigers took a 3-0 lead in the top of the third inning on a 2-run triple by Lance Davis and Matt Bass’ sacrifice fly.
Hereford scored one run in the bottom of the third and one run in the fifth.
Jarrett Reneau hit an RBI single in the seventh to give Snyder a 4-1 lead.
Davis hit a single and triple with two RBIs.
Snyder lost to Andrews 8-3 at Lubbock Estacado High School. In the first inning, Snyder scored two runs and the third run in the fourth inning.
Bass hit a single and double.
On Thursday, Snyder (2-3) will play Canyon Lake at 5 p.m. and Sequin at 7:30 p.m. at the Comal tournament.
