Tigers qualify for Class 4A regional golf tournament

The Snyder Tiger golf team is heading to the regional tournament.
With a second place finish at the District 5-4A tournament, Snyder qualified for the April 24-25 regional tournament at Lubbock’s Shadow Hills Golf Course.
The Tigers finished with a three-round total of 1060 after shooting 365 as a team on Monday at Midland’s Hogan Park Golf Course. 
Big Spring won the team title with a three-round total of 1030.
Kade Hunter finished third for Snyder with a 257 while Jax Weaver was fifth with a 259. Ryker Byrom also was in the top 10, finishing seventh with a 270.
Zakkery Edwards tied for 13th with a 285 and Kolton Chapman tied for 18th with a 297.
Seth Grant finished 25th with three-round total of 315 playing as an individual.
