Two Snyder teams win titles at Rotan Cross Country Invitational

ROTAN — The Snyder High School boys’ varsity and the Snyder Junior High School boys’ won the team titles at the Rotan Cross Country Invitational Wednesday.

Snyder’s Christian Escobedo won the high school varsity boys’ race. Andrew Stelluti and Corey Landin finished ninth and 10th, respectively. Jeremiah Rodriguez was the winner of the junior high school boys’ race.

In the varsity girls’ race, Kim Cortes finished 16th. Yemeni Rodriguez was 11th in the JV girls’ race. Mariah Cabrera finished eighth in the eighth grade girls’ race.

No times were available at press time.

The Snyder High School girls’ and boys’ varsity teams will compete at the Lubbock Invitational Saturday.
