With this year in limbo, Scurry County baseball and softball teams got some clarity about the future.
The University Interscholastic League released its district re-alignments earlier this week.
Snyder moves to District 3-4A which will include Big Spring, Levelland, Lubbock Estacado, San Angelo Lake View and Sweetwater. Midland Greenwood will now play in District 2-4A.
Another notable change is the reunion of the Ira and Hermleigh softball teams in district. After playing in separate districts for the past two seasons, the Lady Bulldogs and the Lady Cardinals will meet once again in District 4-2A.
Much of the district resembles the 3-2A district that Ira played in the past two seasons.
The new 4-2A will add Colorado City and Hermleigh to the fold.
Ira and Hermleigh baseball will play out of District 6-2A with seven other teams including Colorado City and Hamlin.
The Borden County Coyotes move out of the district to compete in District 4-2A.
