Westerners add John to 2020 class

The Western Texas College men’s basketball team went north for the latest addition to the 2020 recruiting class, securing a commitment from Brantford, Ontario native Dawson John.
John, a six-foot-five wing who shot 44 percent from behind the 3-point line during his senior season, is recognized as one of the better shooters coming out of Canada. He is the fourth member of the Westerners’ 2020 class, alongside Nakavieon White of Odessa, Lukas Croft from Ball State University and Ja’Bryant Hill of Duncanville.
