Westerners finish third at golf tournament

RUIDOSO, N.M. —The Western Texas College Westerners captured third place at the High Country Golf Shootout Monday.
WTC (277-281-281—839) finished behind tournament champion Odessa College and Midland College at The Links at Sierra Blanca Golf Course.
Elliot Fullalove (70-66-68—204) claimed second place in the individual standings. Tate McVay (69-69-72—210) tied for 11th place and Jordan Flynn (68-75-69—212) tied for 13th.
Zane Stafford (70-71-75—216) finished in a tie for 31st place while Tucker Tovar (69-75-73—217) tied for 32nd. Piers Berrington (74-75-72—221) tied for 48th.
Women
KILLEEN — The Western Texas College Lady Westerners finished third at the Mary Hardin-Baylor Lady Cru Fall Invitational on Tuesday.
WTC shot rounds of 321 and 309 for a tournament score of 630.
Emily Coleman (78-71—149) was third in the individual standings and named to the all-tournament team. Kayla Bartley (76-80—156) tied for sixth and McKenna Henderson (80-78—158) tied for ninth.
Bailee Watt (87-81—168) was 19th while Sarah Falcon (85-85—170) tied for 21st place, followed by Sydney Bowman (91-80—171), who tied for 23rd.
