WTC bull rider first after one round at NIRA finals

Western Texas College freshman Colten Fritzlan has gotten off to a hot start at the College National Finals Rodeo. 
Fritzlan scored an 82.0 on his first go-round in Casper, Wyo., a score that tied him for first place after the first round of preliminary competition. 
Fritzlan is one of 41 competitors in bull riding. 
Fritzlan will ride again Tuesday morning and then will take his final ride Thursday evening.
His WTC teammate, freshman steer wrestler Rooster Yazzie, will kick off his competition this morning and will complete preliminary competition with two rounds on Tuesday.
