WTC finishes third at golf tournament

COMMERCE —The Western Texas College (WTC) Westerner golf team finished third at The Classic at the Tribute Tournament on Wednesday.
WTC (290-282–572) finished nine shots behind second place Cameron University and 12 shots behind tournament champion Incarnate Word.
Elliot Fullalove (68-68—136) tied for first place in the individual standings. Piers Berrington (70-71—141) finished in a tie for ninth. Jordan Flynn (75-70—145) tied for 16th, Tucker Tovar (77-73—150) tied for 33rd and Tate McVay (77-79—156) tied for 51st.
Jakeb Mikel (75-76—151) tied for 38th while playing as an individual.
The Westerners will play at the Odessa Invitational Nov 9.
Women
The Western Texas College Lady Westerners finished the fall golf season by finishing seventh at the Oklahoma Intercollegiate Tournament at the Fort Sill Golf Course in Lawton, Okla. and the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic at the Lincoln Park Golf in Oklahoma City.
WTC (322-312) shot 634 at the Oklahoma Intercollegiate. Emily Coleman (79-73–152) finished 11th in the individual standings. McKenna Henderson (78-78—156) tied for 21st, Sydney Bowman (83-76—159) tied for 30th and Bailee Watt (82-85—167) tied for 41st. Kayla Bartley (84-86—170) finished 49th.
Sarah Falcon (84-79—163) finished in a tie for 35th place playing as an individual.
The Lady Westerners (311-310) shot 621 at the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic.
Coleman (72-70—142) tied for second in the individual standings. Falcon (79-78—157) tied for 28th, Henderson (79-81—160) tied for 37th, Bartley (81-81—162) tied for 40th and Bowman (81-83—164) tied for 44th.
Watt (80-85—165) tied for 46th playing as an individual.
