The Western Texas College Lady Westerners won two of six non-conference softball games to conclude its non-district schedule.
WTC split a doubleheader against Western Nebraska Community on Friday. The Lady Westerners won the first game 11-2 and lost the second game, 8-7.
On Saturday, WTC defeated Western Nebraska 8-3 in the first game and lost the night cap, 5-0.
On Monday, the Lady Westerners lost to Otero Junior College 7-6 and 9-6.
WTC (11-17) will open the Western Junior College Athletic Conference schedule with a doubleheader at Clarendon College Friday and will play at Frank Phillips College Saturday. The first game will start at 1 p.m. each day.
The Lady Westerners’ next home game is scheduled for March 25 against Midland College.
