CLARENDON — The Western Texas College Lady Westerners (6-7, 1-1) took the lead in the second quarter and defeated Clarendon College 76-65 in a Western Junior College Athletic Conference basketball game Monday.
Morgan Dial led the Lady Westerners with 17 points. Corbriyana Wingfield and Keiarra Rivers each had 12 points. Brooke McGee and Jaelyn Goodlow each finished with 10 points.

Miles McDougal and Jevon Brown each scored 16 points. James Edwards had 14 points and Nigel Allen added 13 points.
WTC will host New Mexico Junior College on Thursday.
The women’s game will start at 5:45 p.m., followed by the men’s game at 7:30 p.m.
