Lady Westerners start softball season with losses

The Western Texas College softball team opened the season by losing doubleheaders to Temple College and McLennan Community College.
WTC lost to Temple College 10-3 and 9-4 Saturday.

GAIL — The Ira Lady Bulldogs remained one game behind District 12-1A leader Hermleigh with a 55-37 win over Borden County on Friday.
