The Lady Cardinals dominated the Gordon Lady Longhorns 19-0 Tuesday. Sydney Hancock (above) led the Lady Cardinals with three hits. Hancock and Callaway led in runs with three each.

The Lady Tigers traveled to Lubbock last Wednesday for their second round of district at the Shadow Hills Golf Course. 

The Tigers rallied following a dominant opening inning from the San Angelo Lake View Chiefs to secure the 9-8 win Friday.

The Lady Cardinals dropped to 7-4 after an 8-1 loss to the Coahoma Bulldogettes’ JV team Friday. The Bulldogettes recorded six runs in the first three innings to take a 6-0 lead.

Five Snyder tennis players advanced to regionals following the district tournament in Snyder Thursday.

The Hermleigh Cardinals could not contain the Rotan Yellowhammers in their 19-3 loss Friday. The Yellowhammers ended the game early after mercy-ruling the Cardinals.

Both teams went scoreless in the opening inning. Saleigh Hernandez opened the scoring in the second inning after Giselle Borrego’s single drove her in.

The Snyder Tigers held off the Lubbock Estacado Matadors’ rally in the final inning for the 8-7 win Tuesday.

The Lady Cardinals secured a pair of wins over the Aspermont Lady Hornets Saturday and the Haskell Maidens Tuesday.

The Bulldogs secured a pair of dominant 15-0 wins over the Jayton Jaybirds Saturday and the Westbrook Wildcats Tuesday.
