Mr. Elmer Forrest Wemken, 75, of Dunn passed away on January 22 at his home in Dunn.
Forrest Wemken was born on November 17, 1948, in Andrews to Johnnie William and Katrina Pearl (Smith) Wemken. He married Meiying Zheng. He attended some college and planned on being a diesel mechanic as a career. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Johnnie and Katrina Wemken and sister, Sherrill Wemken.
He is survived by his Wife, Meiying Zheng of Dunn; Daughters, Jeanie Wemken of Abilene, Joanie Wemken and husband Chris Taylor of Dunn and Raechele Wemken of Dunn; Son, Forrest Wemken of Dunn; Brothers, W.D. Wemken of Sweetwater, Johnnie “Willie” Wemken of Snyder and Dorman “Ray” Wemken of Snyder; four Grandchildren; and five Great Grandchildren.
No Services will be held at this time. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
