Jeremy Wayne Porter was born February 9, 1976 in Snyder to Ronald Wayne and Karen Aleese (Benson) Porter. The Lord called him home on March 1 while residing at Abilene State Supported Living Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Wayne and Karen (Benson) McEntyre; sisters, Angie Porter and Shiela Horton; maternal grandparents, Carold and Aleese (McAnear) Benson; paternal grandparents, Luther Henry and Helen (Wallace) Porter; uncles, Victor Benson, Charles Porter and Alvin Porter and aunt, Kay Porter.
Jeremy is survived by his sister, Marissa Horton of Lexington Park, MD; brother, Johnathan Porter of Dallas; uncles, Jimmy Taylor and Roxanne of Lubbock and James Taylor of Marshfield, MA; aunts, Carolyn Lankord of Abilene, and Alison Parr and husband Tony of England.
There will be a Funeral Service for Jeremy on March 9, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel with Jeremy’s great-uncle, Carl Shroyer officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Hillside Memorial Gardens.
