After tabling a resolution to apply for a construction loan last month, the Scurry County Hospital District board of directors will discuss it Wednesday.
The board tabled the discussion in August because paperwork was not finalized. It is for up to $10 million that would be used to help finance long-term construction at Cogdell Memorial Hospital.
Directors are also scheduled to receive an update from the construction team and the new hospice program during Wednesday’s meeting. Several policies and procedures and medical staff credentials will be presented for approval.
The board will hold a closed session to conduct the annual evaluation of Chief Executive Officer Ella Helms and discuss a proposed service line. The board will hold the discussion of new lab services under Section 551.085 of the Texas Health and Safety Code. Any action from the closed sessions will be taken in open session.
The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the administration wing boardroom and is open to the public. A time has been set aside for the public to comment on non-agenda items.
