Representatives from the Christian Motorcyclists Association will be in Snyder this week gauging interest in forming a local chapter.
Clifton Morrison said he and other members of the association will have a booth set up at the Snyder Bike Rally, which will be held Friday and Saturday at the rodeo grounds on Gary Brewer Road.
“We want to see if the folks in Snyder have some interest in starting a chapter,” Morrison said.
He said an informational meeting could be held at a later date.
The association’s mission is “to inspire our leaders and members to be the most organized, advanced, equipped, financially stable organization, full of integrity in the motorcycling industry and the Kingdom of God,” according to its website.
The association is interdenominational and evangelistic in nature and has 35 chapters in Texas, with most in East Texas and the Fort Worth/Dallas Metroplex.
