The Snyder Farmers Market will soon open for the summer season.
The annual  market offers local produce, live music, baked goods, craft items, re-sale items and more.
“We enjoy bringing the market to the community,” The Coliseum Manager Darla Wiggins said. “We offer something to our community that other communities don’t offer.”
Wiggins said she hopes more vendors participate this year. To encourage more vendors, booth spaces will be free.
Wiggins said she wanted to make it easier for people.
“Before setting up, they need to make sure their produce is approved by the (Texas Department of State Health Services),” she said. “They can go to their website for rules and regulations.”
The market will begin its three-month run starting June 15 at The Coliseum’s pavilion and will be open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.
