Commissioner met in a special meeting Monday to discuss issues with the Scurry County Courthouse.
The courthouse is needing repairs. The marble facade is coming loose and commissioner are seeking repairs. The courthouse in Nolan County had similar problems leading to pieces falling and causing a hazard for residents visiting the courthouse.
