• Arrests
Josh Bequette, 37, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Scurry County Jail on Debaca County, N.M. warrants for failure to comply with conditions of his probation on original charges of fraud over $20,000, disposing of encumbered property over $20,000 and issuing a worthless check 25 or more times.
An 18-year-old female was arrested at 11:53 p.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of 37th Street for driving while license invalid.
• Burglary
A residence in the 600 block of North Ave. R was broken into, according to a call at 2:58 p.m. Thursday.
• Accidents
A two-vehicle accident was reported at 7:52 a.m. Thursday in the 2600 block of College Ave.
At 5:28 p.m. Thursday, a two-vehicle accident was reported on the Nothin’ Butt Smokes parking lot in the 4100 block of College Ave.
• Fire
A grass fire near the Covered S Ranch was reported at 1:36 p.m. Thursday. The Snyder Fire Department was dispatched, but the fire was out prior to arrival. The cause of the fire was a flat tire on a truck hauling a trailer.
• Scam phone call
A resident in the 80 block of Augusta Circle reported receiving a scam phone call at 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
Loud music
Loud music was reported at 2:32 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of 36th Place.
