• Arrests
Noah Flores, 17, was arrested at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday at the Scurry County Juvenile Probation office for possession of a controlled substance.
A 44-year-old male was arrested at 9:03 a.m. Tuesday in the 2400 block of Scurry Ave. on a warrant for assault causing bodily injury.
At 11:03 a.m. Tuesday, a 31-year-old female was arrested in the 400 block of Coliseum Drive on Scurry County Justice of the Peace Pct. 1 warrants for no driver’s license and speeding.
A 19-year-old female was arrested for criminal trespass at 8:19 p.m. Tuesday at Walmart Supercenter.
• Burglary
A television was stolen from a residence in the 1100 block of 28th Street, according to a call at 7:25 p.m. Tuesday.
• Theft
A theft was reported at Basic Energy in the 4400 block of FM 1606 at 7:42 a.m. Tuesday.
Tools were reported stolen from a residence in the 1600 block of Scurry Ave. at 5:09 p.m. Tuesday.
• Fire
A garbage disposal was on fire in the 2200 block of Ave. Z, according to a call at 6:47 p.m. Tuesday. The Snyder Fire Department responded and put out the fire.
• Water leak
A water leak was reported in the 300 block of 30th Street at 8:43 p.m. Tuesday. The Snyder Water Department was notified.
• Animal concerns
A dog was at-large at the intersection of 30th Street and Ave. V, according to a call at 2:17 p.m. Tuesday.
At 3:54 p.m. Tuesday, a vehicle hit a duck at the intersection of 42nd Street and Austin Ave.
A bull was loose in the 11000 block of CR 3132 at 5:16 p.m. Tuesday.
