• Arrests
Jamon Deante Douglas, 28, was arrested at 2 a.m. today at Comfort Inn and Suites for failure to identify as a fugitive from justice.
A 21-year-old male was arrested in the 3400 block of U.S. Hwy. 84 for assault, family violence.
Two people, a 47-year-old male and 18-year-old female, were arrested for criminal trespass at 6:14 p.m. Wednesday at Walmart Supercenter.
• Man with rifle
A person called the law enforcement center at midnight today to report a man wearing a rifle on his back was checking out at Walmart Supercenter. The man left before police arrived at the store.
• Theft
A gas drive-off was reported at Wes-T-Go at 10:47 a.m. Wednesday.
A theft was reported in the 200 block of 26th Street at 12:35 p.m. Wednesday.
A television was taken from a residence in the 800 block of 16th Street, according to a call at 7:26 p.m. Wednesday.
• Burglary
Someone broke into a building in the 1600 block of 27th Street, according to a call at 2:31 p.m. Wednesday.
• Accident
One person was transported to Cogdell Memorial Hospital following a two-vehicle accident on U.S. Hwy. 84, one mile north of the Snyder/Big Spring exit, at 5:52 a.m. Wednesday.
• Fires
Controlled burns were called in at 10:17 a.m. Wednesday from the 3800 block of FM 1607, at 11:27 a.m. Wednesday from the 9600 block of CR 3115 and at 1:54 p.m. Wednesday from the 6400 block of CR 362.
