• Arrest
Crystal May Berkley, 31, was arrested at 12:44 p.m. Thursday at the Kingswood Apartments on a Lubbock County warrant for bond forfeiture on an original charge of theft and a Dallas County warrant for obstruction/retaliation.
• Drugs on campus
A Western Texas College security officer called the law enforcement center at 1:23 p.m. Thursday after finding illegal drugs in a vehicle parked on campus. An offense reported for possession of a controlled substance was filed.
• Burglaries
A burglary at Pioneer Furniture in the 2300 block of College Ave. was reported at 11:07 a.m. Thursday.
At 7:17 p.m. Thursday, a burglary was reported in the 100 block of North College Ave.
• Fire
A controlled burn was called in at 10:35 a.m. Thursday from the intersection of CR 4167 and CR 4166.
• Animal concerns
A horse was loose in the 1800 block of Ave. O at 7:48 a.m. Thursday.
At 5:36 p.m. Thursday, a pack of dogs was at-large in the 1200 block of Ave. Q.
