Gasoline prices fall slightly this week

Texas gas prices have fallen 0.4 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.27 per gallon today, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 13,114 stations. Gas prices in Texas are 8.6 cents per gallon lower than a month ago, yet stand 33.7 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Texas is priced at $1.92 per gallon today while the most expensive is $3.19 per gallon. 
The cheapest price in the United States today stands at $1.80 per gallon while the most expensive is $4.99 per gallon. 
Neighboring areas and their current gas prices include Midland-Odessa, $2.44 per gallon, down 3.1 cents per gallon from last week’s $2.47 per gallon San Antonio, $2.19 per gallon, down 1 cent per gallon from last week’s $2.20 per gallon and Austin, $2.23 per gallon, down 1.8 cents per gallon from last week’s $2.25 per gallon.
