There were two perfect entries in this fall’s AAA Texas 500 NASCAR ticket giveaway.
Savannah A. Glasscock and Bill Cooley, both of Snyder, correctly identified all 24 locations as well as correctly answering the three tiebreakers.
“It was kind of fun,” said Jimmy Nix, of Nix’s Auto and Tire Service. “We had people coming by the shop this weekend, asking us which picture was ours. It was great that people got to drive around and take a fresh look at our town.”
Nix added four additional tickets as prizes, so both Glasscock and Cooley will win four tickets to Sunday’s AAA Texas 500 race at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth.
The locations, in order, were Nix’s Auto and Tire Service, Big Country Autoland, Burger King, Mason Jar, Times Square Coffeehouse, Western Texas College, steam locomotive, AimBank, Santa Fe Depot, Towle Park pond, Hillside Memorial Gardens, Manhattan Hotel, Community Bank of Snyder, Nana Bears, Western Auto, old jail, Towle Park pavilion, Ritz Theatre, Roe’s Furniture, Sinclair Station, Stephens Office Supply, courthouse memorial, white buffalo on the square and Classic Interiors.
There are six benches inside the downtown pocket park, 12 ramps at the Towle Park skate park and 11 buildings at Heritage Village.
More than 35 entries were submitted.
