The Hermleigh ISD board of trustees on Tuesday approved a resolution allowing the district to sell five parcels of land within the district boundaries.

The tracts are:

• Lot 2 in Block 76 in the Town of Hermleigh. It is at the corner of Willis Ave. and Lowe Street.

• Lot 4 in Block 76 in the Town of Hermleigh. It is at the corner of Cardinal Street and Herm Ave.

• Lot 2 in Block 89 in the Town of Hermleigh. It is at the corner of Pyron Ave. and Cardinal Street.

• Lot 3 in Block 70 in the Town of Hermleigh. It is at the corner of School Ave. and Lowe Street.

• Lot 3 in Block 69 in the Town of Hermleigh. It is at the corner of Pyron Ave. and Lowe Street.

The tracts include surface property only.

“We’ll accept sealed bids on the properties and post the notices on two different dates,” said Superintendent Ronnie Roemisch. “And the bid packages can be picked up in my office.”

Trustees also approved the Professional Development Appraisal (P
DAS) calendar and appraisers for this year, and approved extension agents Greg Gruben and Rhonda White as adjunct faculty members.

This will allow students in 4-H to be counted as “in attendance” during sponsored activities.

Roemisch also reported on insurance claims after high winds damaged parts of the campus.

There were no personnel items discussed.
