• Arrests
Angelic Joyce Ervin, 26, was arrested at 8:52 a.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of Ave. M on a district court warrant for failure to appear at a show cause hearing regarding failure to pay court costs and for possession of drug paraphernalia.
A 31-year-old male was arrested at 11:40 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of 25th Street and Ave. I for driving while license invalid.
A 38-year-old male was arrested at 2:26 a.m. Sunday at Cogdell Memorial Hospital for public intoxication.
At 3:21 a.m. Sunday, a 27-year-old female was arrested in the 3100 block of Ave. K for possession of drug paraphernalia.
A 49-year-old female was arrested at 5:24 a.m. Sunday in the 4200 block of College Ave. for failure to appear at a show cause hearing regarding court-ordered parent education and family stabilization course.
At 5:21 p.m. Sunday, a 23-year-old male was arrested on a Howard County warrant for failure to appear.
• Theft
A theft was reported at Family Dollar at 4:07 p.m. Sunday.
Puppies were reported stolen from a cage in the 200 block of Moncrief Ave. at 4:49 p.m. Sunday.
At 9:34 p.m. Sunday, a vehicle was reported stolen from the 400 block of 34th Street.
• Burglaries
The burglary of a vehicle in the 2700 block of 48th Street was reported at 5:15 a.m. Sunday.
A burglary was reported in the 700 block of 29th Street at 10:17 a.m. Sunday.
• Criminal mischief
A person reported, at 2:44 p.m. Saturday, someone poured sugar into their vehicle’s gas tank in the 100 block of East 37th Street.
A storm door was broken in the 1600 block of Keller Ave., according to a call at 11:46 p.m. Saturday.
• Drone issue
A resident on Highland Ave. reported a drone flying over residences on Sunset and Highland avenues and 40th Street at 7:16 p.m. Sunday. The operator was notified of the complaint.
• Accidents
A one-vehicle accident was reported at 12:23 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Hwy. 84 between Dermott and the Fluvanna exit.
At 11:06 p.m. Saturday, a two-vehicle accident was reported on U.S. Hwy. 84.
A one-vehicle accident was reported at 12:24 a.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of FM 1611.
At 5:47 a.m. Sunday, a vehicle hit a deer on Camp Springs Road.
A two-vehicle accident was reported at 9:51 a.m. Sunday on the Walmart Supercenter parking lot.
• Water leak
A water leak was reported at 4:40 p.m. Sunday from the 1800 block of 28th Street. The Snyder Water Department was notified.
• Fires
Controlled burns were called in at 11:12 a.m. Saturday from the 8200 block of CR 242, at 11:19 a.m. Saturday from the 700 block of Armadillo Lane, at 7:33 a.m. Sunday from CR 4102, at 11:32 a.m. Sunday from the 2600 block of Business U.S. Hwy. 84, at 11:39 a.m. Sunday from CR 1105, at 12:09 p.m. Sunday from the 5700 block of CR 485 and at 2:53 p.m. Sunday from the 300 block of CR 112.
• Animal concerns
A person called the law enforcement center at 12:20 p.m. Saturday to report seeing two malnourished dogs at the intersection of 22nd Street and Ave. M. Snyder Animal Control was notified.
At 1:34 p.m. Saturday, a calf was reported loose at the intersection of CR 3105 and CR 3116.
Complaints of two dogs at-large in the 400 block of 32nd Street were made at 8:32 p.m. Saturday and 8:45 p.m. Saturday.
Five horses were reported loose at the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 180 and CR 243 at 11:06 p.m. Saturday.
At 9:58 a.m. Sunday, a person called the law enforcement center to report seeing an injured deer in the 10000 block of South Hwy. 208.
A dog was at-large in the 200 block of 36th Street at 7:33 p.m. Sunday.
• Scam call
A resident in the 1600 block of North Ave. R reported receiving a scam phone call at 3:38 p.m. Saturday.
• Loud music
Loud music was reported at 12:05 a.m. Sunday in the 1900 block of Ave. P.
