• Arrests
Melody Perales, 43, was arrested at 4:40 a.m. Thursday in the Scurry County jail on a parole violation warrant.
Robert Zamora, 53, was arrested at 11:02 p.m. Thursday in the 3900 block of Midland Ave. for driving while intoxicated, third or more offense.
David West, 54, was arrested at 12:21 a.m. today in the 1300 block of 26th Street for driving while intoxicated, third or more offense, and on a parole violation warrant.
A 27-year-old male was arrested at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday along U.S. Hwy. 84 near Inadale for possession of marijuana, more than two ounces, but less than four ounces.
A 20-year-old male was arrested at 2:26 p.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of 34th Street on a Pct. 2 Justice of the Peace warrant for surety withdrawal for fleeing from a peace officer.
A 54-year-old male was arrested at 4:14 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of East U.S. Hwy. 180 for possession of marijuana, less than two ounces.
A 25-year-old male was arrested at 10:44 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of 25th Street for driving while intoxicated.
A 43-year-old female was arrested at 11:45 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of 35th Street on Snyder municipal court warrants for driving while license invalid (two counts).
A 19-year-old male was arrested at 11:52 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of 35th Street on a Pct. 2 Justice of the Peace warrant for failure to appear.
• Assaults
Assault, family violence, was reported at 11:49 p.m. Thursday by a person who went to the police department.
An assault was reported at 12:01 a.m. today by the Cogdell Memorial Hospital emergency room staff.
• Man with a gun
A man with a gun was reported at 11:12 p.m. Wednesday at Towle Park.
• Thefts
Theft of a diesel tank trailer was reported at 7:47 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection of FM 1606 and CR 3102.
Theft of a cell phone was reported at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday at Walmart Supercenter.
Theft of a generator was reported at 12:33 p.m. Thursday in the 2500 block of Ave. M.
• Criminal trespass
Criminal trespass warnings were issued at 9:21 a.m. Wednesday in the 3900 block of Ave. O and at 10:22 p.m. Thursday at the Towle Park skate park.
• Criminal mischief
A report of cut fences near the intersection of CR 4131 and CR 4102 was received at 11:36 a.m. Thursday.
• Prowlers
Prowlers were reported at 9:02 a.m. Thursday in the 400 block of 36th Place and at 1:12 a.m. today in the 2800 block of 32nd Street.
• Accident
A two-vehicle accident was reported at 6:20 p.m. Thursday in the 4600 block of El Paso Ave. No injuries were reported.
• Fire
A yard fire was reported at 9:52 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of 40th Street and Avondale Ave. Snyder Fire Department personnel reported the fire was out upon arrival.
Controlled burns were reported at 11:20 a.m. Thursday in the 1900 block of CR 137 and at 11:21 a.m. Thursday along U.S. Hwy. 180, two miles east of Snyder.
• Noise complaint
Loud vehicle noises were reported at 9:24 p.m. Wednesday in the 1600 block of Keller Ave.
• Animal concerns
Loose cattle were reported at 6:55 a.m. Wednesday in the 3900 block of U.S. Hwy. 180 and at 8:18 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of College Ave. and Memorial Way.
A dog at-large was reported at 9:11 a.m. Thursday in the 4100 block of Eastridge Ave.
Loose horses were reported at 2:50 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of CR 146 and CR 173 and at 10:18 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Hickory Street.
