July Fourth closings announced

Local businesses, banks and government offices will be closed for the Fourth of July holiday.

Friday, July 3, will be a holiday for both city and county government.

The city landfill will be open until noon on Friday, and closed all day Saturday. All city services will reopen as usual on Monday.

Emergency services for both city and county, including law enforcement, fire protection and emergency medical services, will operate as usual throughout the holiday.

There will be no U.S. Mail delivery — including delivery to post office boxes — on Saturday. Mail will run as usual on other days.

West Texas State Bank will be closed Friday, and the bank’s drive through service will be closed Saturday. Community Bank and Prosperity Bank will both be closed Friday.

AimBank will be closed Saturday.

The Snyder News office will close at noon Friday and reopen on Tuesday. The weekend edition will be printed Friday afternoon and delivered Friday and Saturday.
