Due to this week’s increase in active COVID-19 cases here, the Scurry County Senior Center’s May Day celebration, which was scheduled for today, has been canceled.
“We were disappointed when we had to postpone it in May. We thought by now we would be on the tail end of COVID, but we’re not,” said Executive Director Tammy Quick.
