The City of Snyder is installing water and sewer lines during the month of May and it will affect water service in some areas.
New water lines will be be installed on Ave. Z, from 23rd to 30th streets, on 28th Street, from Ave. Z to Westridge Drive, and on Westridge Drive, from 28th to 30th streets, through May 16.
A new water line will be installed on Ave. G, from 26th to 28th streets today, and a pressure test and bacteria sample pull will be conducted on a new line in the alley between 42nd and 43rd streets, from the 2100 block of Ave. U to the 2400 block of 42nd Place.
Tie-in services on that line will take place through May 11 and will cause some residents in that area to be without water while old services are changed over to new services.
A pressure test will be conducted and bacteria samples will be pulled on Ave. G today and Thursday.
