Midland man indicted for forgery

A Midland man was indicted by a Scurry County grand jury this week for state-jail felony forgery
Doyl Ray Miears, 42, who was arrested on Thursday at the Scurry County Courthouse, was indicted for forging a $4,400 check from his victim on Sept. 7.
Bond was set at $5,000.
