Missing Mitchell County woman found dead

The body of a missing Mitchell County woman was found on Monday, law enforcement officials said.
Amber Blair Sevier, 39, was reported missing on Saturday and her body was discovered at 4:30 p.m. Monday. Her body was transported to Dallas for an autopsy.
According to reports, family members located her vehicle in a ravine near Lake Champion off Hwy. 208. Police said the vehicle was found about one mile from Sevier’s home.
Mitchell County Sheriff Patrick Toombs said the car was partially underwater and it took law enforcement nearly two hours to remove the vehicle from the ravine.
The case remains under investigation.
