Museum to host medieval activities Saturday

The Scurry County Museum will host an arts and science day for the Barony of Bonwicke Saturday.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature medieval arts and sciences activities.
“A wide variety of classes will be offered, including armor history, hat making, dying with indigo, intro to middle eastern classes and charter painting,” said Daniel Schlegel Jr., the museum’s executive director. “The group will also be painting the new baronial pavilion as well as practicing medieval combat.”
The event is free to the public.
