• Arrests
A 31-year-old male was arrested at Sonic Drive-In at 7:52 a.m. Monday on a Pct. 2 Justice of the Peace warrants for improper axle position parts, theft, speeding and for child safety seat violation.
At 5:49 p.m. Monday, a 37-year-old female was arrested at the United Supermarkets fuel station for expired driver’s license.
• Theft
At 2:54 a.m. today, a vehicle at Wilson Motors was reported to be missing its tires.
• Fires
Controlled burns were called in at 8:08 a.m. Monday from Camp Springs Road, at 8:38 a.m. Monday from the 100 block of Elam Road, at 9:38 a.m. Monday from the 700 block of Armadillo Lane, at 10:06 a.m. Monday from FM 644 in Hermleigh, at 10:20 a.m. Monday from U.S. Hwy. 180, three miles west of Snyder, and at 7:52 p.m. Monday from the 4400 block of FM 1611.
• Scam call
A scam call was reported in the 2800 block of Ave. X at 11:57 a.m. Monday.
• Animal concerns
A dog was at-large near the Towle Park pond at 5:17 p.m. Monday.
At 5:25 p.m. Monday, an at-large dog was acting aggressively in the 1700 block of Scott Street.
• Monday blotter notes
Scurry County EMS responded to one medical call.
Three non-accident, traffic-related calls were received.
Two 911 hang-up calls were received.
Law enforcement responded to three civil issues.
