• Arrest
A 34-year-old female was arrested in the 1000 block of 27th Street at 3:52 p.m. Friday for theft.
At 4:09 p.m. Friday, a 38-year-old male was arrested in the 1900 block of 30th Street for expired Department of Transportation registration, failure to maintain financial responsibility and driving while license invalid.
A 42-year-old male was arrested at 6:26 p.m. Friday at the intersection of 30th Street and Ave. D on a Howard County warrant for theft.
• Burglary
A residential break-in was reported in the 2400 block of 29th Street at 1:28 a.m. today. An offense report for burglary was filed by police.
• Accidents
A person went to the law enforcement center at 6:14 p.m. Friday to report a hit-and-run accident. No location was given for the accident.
A vehicle hit a deer on Hwy. 208, according to a call at 8:47 p.m. Friday.
• Animal concerns
A caller reported, at 7:30 a.m. Friday, that two pit bulls were chained up and fighting in the 300 block of 35th Street.
A horse was running loose at the intersection of Ave. R and 6th Street at 8:55 a.m. Friday.
A calf was loose in the 7300 block of West U.S. Hwy. 180 at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
