• Arrest
At 7:45 p.m. Monday, a 43-year-old female was arrested in the 2400 block of 27th Street for possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Assaults
An assault was reported in the 1200 block of Harlan Ave. in Hermleigh at 2:41 p.m. Monday.
At 9:37 p.m. Monday, a patient at the Cogdell Memorial Hospital emergency room reported having been assaulted before arriving at the hospital.
• Burglary
At 12:57 a.m. today, a break-in was reported at a residence in the 1800 block of Ave. O.
• Accidents
A vehicle hit a deer on U.S. Hwy. 180 in Borden County at 8:29 p.m. Monday. No injuries were reported.
At 1:28 a.m. today, a vehicle hit two wild hogs on U.S. Hwy. 180, west of Snyder. No injuries were reported.
• Gas leak
A gas leak was reported in the 2000 block of Ave. L at 11:07 a.m. Monday. The Snyder Fire Department responded.
• Animal concerns
A cow was loose at the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 180 and CR 253 at 12:53 p.m. Monday.
A calf was loose in the 10000 block of U.S. Hwy. 180 at 2:01 p.m. Monday.
• Loud music
Loud music was reported at 10:26 p.m. Monday from the 4400 block of Ave. O.
