• Arrests
Melvin Riggins Jr., 59, was arrested in the 500 block of 25th Street at 1:09 p.m. Tuesday on an Austin municipal warrant for parole violation on an original charge of aggravated robbery.
Veronica Morin Jaramillo, 25, was arrested in the 132nd District Courtroom at 5:47 p.m. Tuesday on an order to revoke bond.
A 34-year-old female was arrested at the Scurry County Jail at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday on a Scurry County warrant for assault causing bodily injury.
At 7 p.m. Tuesday, a 21-year-old female and a 39-year-old male were both arrested on the Walmart Supercenter parking lot for criminal trespass.
A 19-year-old male was arrested in the 100 block of 37th Street at 8:08 p.m. Tuesday on a warrant for assault causing bodily injury.
• Theft
A car stereo was reported stolen from Walmart Supercenter at 8:09 a.m. Tuesday.
• Fire
A controlled burn was called in at 8:19 a.m. Tuesday from the 1200 block of Smith Ave.
• Water leak
A water leak was reported in the 2700 block of 27th Street at 7:17 p.m. Tuesday. The Snyder Water Department was notified.
• Animal concern
Several horses were loose at the intersection of Ave. O and Dorsey Ave. at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday.
• Loud music
Loud music was reported in the 4400 block of Ave. U at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday.
