• Arrests
Renee Danielle Trevino, 35, was arrested at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Scurry County Courthouse on a felony warrant for motion to adjudicate guilt on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.
A 17-year-old female was arrested at the Scurry County Courthouse at 2:48 p.m. Wednesday on a Scurry County warrant surety withdrawal for failure to identify
• Accidents
A two-vehicle accident was reported on College Ave. in front of Walmart Supercenter at 11:31 a.m. Wednesday.
A two-vehicle accident was reported on the O’Reilly Auto Parts parking lot at 1:46 p.m. Wednesday.
• Fires
A controlled burn was called in at 9:53 a.m. Wednesday from the 1200 block of Smith Ave.
At 9:34 p.m. Wednesday, a tree branch caught fire in the 3500 block of Kerrville Ave. after an apparent transformer blow-out. The Snyder Fire Department responded and put out the fire.
• Water leak
A water leak was reported in the 200 block of 36th Street at 1:26 p.m. Wednesday. The Snyder Water Department was notified.
• Animal concern
A calf was loose on FM 1142, five miles north of U.S. Hwy. 84, at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
