• Arrest
Samuel Garza Ruiz III, 24, was arrested in the 400 block of 37th Street at 1 p.m. Tuesday for felony burglary of a habitation and felony theft of a firearm.
• Burglary
At 11 a.m. Tuesday, two juveniles were seen running from a residence in the 700 block of 29th Street carrying rifles. Offense reports for burglary of habitation and felony theft of firearms were submitted.
• Accident
A two-vehicle accident was reported on the Walmart Supercenter parking lot at 8:13 p.m. Tuesday.
• Fires
Controlled burns were called in at 7:27 a.m. Tuesday from the T&K Dairy and at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday from the 1400 block of FM 1611.
• Animal concerns
A cow was loose on U.S. Hwy. 84, north of FM 612, at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday.
At 10:01 a.m. Tuesday, a cow was loose on U.S. Hwy. 180, 13 miles east of Snyder. The call was transferred to Fisher County.
Two bulls were loose west of CR 3116 at 10:44 a.m. Tuesday.
A rattlesnake was in a backyard in the 4100 block of Jacksboro Ave. at 5:01 p.m. Tuesday. The snake was disposed.
A cow was loose at the intersection of Ennis Creek Road and CR 148 at 5:11 p.m. Tuesday.
