• Arrest
A 37-year-old male was arrested at Pioneer Furniture at 2:15 p.m. Monday for public intoxication.
• Assault
An assault was reported in the 300 block of Wheat Street in Hermleigh at 3:09 p.m. Monday.
• Accident
A two-vehicle accident was reported on the United Supermarkets parking lot near the gas pumps at 6:25 p.m. Monday.
• Fires
Controlled burns were called in at 7:49 a.m. Monday from the 4600 block of CR 132, at 8:30 a.m. Monday from the 5800 block of Pleasant Hill Road, at 11:06 a.m. Monday from Allen Compression and at 3:23 p.m. Monday from the Juarez Ranch off of Thompson Road.
• Scam call
A phone scam was reported in the 600 block of 29th Street at 10:01 p.m. Monday.
• Animal concerns
At 7:53 a.m. Monday, a dog was at-large in the 900 block of 30th Street.
A dog was at-large in the 200 block of 24th Street at 9:24 a.m. Monday.
A dog was at-large at the intersection of 25th Street and Ave. H at 5:38 p.m. Monday.
