• Arrests
Renee Danielle Trevino, 35, was arrested in the 2500 block of Ennis Creek Road at 11:49 a.m. Sunday for two counts of possession of a controlled substance and for driving while license suspended. A 33-year-old male was arrested at the same time and location on a warrant for failure to appear at a show cause hearing regarding failure to pay court costs.
At 5:35 p.m. Saturday, a 61-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 500 block of 32nd Street.
A 21-year-old male was arrested in the 600 block of Pyron Ave. in Hermleigh at 1:21 a.m. Sunday for assault, family violence, and resisting arrest.
A 61-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication at Stripes East at 1:55 a.m. Sunday.
At 4:01 a.m. Sunday, a 44-year-old female was arrested at Executive Inn on warrants for public intoxication and no seatbelt.
A 19-year-old male was arrested at 9:26 p.m. Sunday at the Scurry County Jail on Snyder municipal court warrants for no driver’s license and public intoxication and on a Pct. 2 Justice of the Peace warrant for no driver’s license.
• Accidents
An accident involving a motorcycle was reported at 3:22 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Hwy. 84 between College Ave. and Ave. E. One person was transported to Cogdell Memorial Hospital.
A two-vehicle accident was reported on the Domino’s Pizza parking lot at 6:36 p.m. Saturday.
A hit-and-run was reported in the 2300 block of 25th Street at 8:38 a.m. Sunday.
• Fires
Controlled burns were called in at 8:37 a.m. Saturday from the intersection of Ennis Creek Road and U.S. Hwy. 84, at 9:59 a.m. Saturday from the 60 block of Appleton Lane and at 4:29 p.m. Saturday from the 12000 block of FM 2085.
• Gas leak
A gas leak was reported in the 2400 block of Ave. F at 9:16 a.m. Sunday. Atmos and the Snyder police and fire departments responded.
• Water leak
A water leak was reported in the 2200 block of 45th Street at 2:22 p.m. Saturday. The Snyder Water Department was notified.
• Scam call
A phone scam was reported at 12:18 p.m. Saturday from a residence in the 100 block of Milburn Street.
• Animal concerns
At 7:15 p.m. Sunday, two dogs were at-large in the 700 block of CR 444 after killing five goats and injuring several others.
A person in the 1700 block of 20th Street was bit by a cat, according to a call at 7:50 p.m. Sunday.
• Loud music
Loud music was reported at 12:56 a.m. Sunday from the 3100 block of Ave. W and at 1:54 a.m. Sunday from the 3600 block of Ave. C.
• Weekend blotter notes
Scurry County EMS responded to three medical calls.
Six non-accident, traffic-related calls were received.
Four alarms were reported.
Two close patrols were requested.
One welfare check was requested.
Thirteen 911 hang-up calls were received.
Law enforcement responded to seven civil issues.
